Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan, which means 'supreme breath boxing' is practiced by millions of people around the world. The ancient and gentle Chinese martial art offers the perfect balance of mind and body, strength and flexibility, grace and agility. The tai chi form is meant to enable one to bring the principles of yin and yang back into their fundamental, natural harmony. The ultimate effect of this harmony, according to Taoism and Tai Chi, is one's physical and spiritual well being.

I was thinking...

The Bible preaches that Jesus's name is the way to the kingdom of heaven, but, before Christ walked the earth, what was the way then? Also, whatever the way was before Jesus's reign on earth, why wouldnt it still apply to those who have never heard Jesus's name? The Native Americans were a very spiritual people, I am to believe they are burning for an eternaty because they didnt know better? Something just doesnt seem fair about that. If you would like to give your opinion please mail me, I would love to discuss this issue.

What's New?

The Dalai Lama Works With Brain Researchers. Science and religion work together to explore the effects of meditation and emotions on the brain.
The Dalai Lama said it was fascinating that meditation and emotions, such as sadness and happiness, affect the brain, and he emphasized that science and religion should not be opponents. 'Buddha himself made very clear--carry out experiments and investigations by yourself: 'You should not accept my word out of respect,'' the Dalai Lama said. "There is no contradiction between the scientific way of thinking and Buddha's way of thinking."
